I'm a Policy Economist at RIETI. 

I received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. 

My research interests are international trade, production networks, macroeconomics, and urban economics. 

Since 2020, I've also worked on COVID-19 and macro-SIR models. Please see our website (managed by my coauthor Taisuke Nakata) for COVID-related research and policy analyses in Japan. Our old website is here.
