Anyone purchasing a firearm over the internet must transfer the firearm through a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) Dealer. Firearms Training & Supply (FTS) holds an FFL and can process firearm transfers. FTS can purchase new firearms wholesale, but we know you can often find better pricing online.
To Transfer a firearm You have to be a resident of Arizona, with a valid AZ driver's license. MUST have your current address on your license.
Exceptions is: active duty military, a copy of your orders assigning you to a base in AZ is required.
Must be over 18 to purchase a Rifle, and over 21 for a pistol or any lower receiver (as most lowers can be built as a pistol of rifle).
Transfer Fees:
$20 Per Firearm (any serial numbered part that is listed on 4473)
$5 Background Check (Per 4473, not per Firearm)
Transfer Process:
1. Purchase a firearm from an online company, like Gunbroker.com.
(Verify shipping charges before purchase)
2. You arrange for payment with Seller (We do not accept any COD orders)
3. Send copy of my FFL with payment or via email to seller, The seller may already have a copy on file.
(FFL available at the bottom of this page, INBOUND form)
Gunbroker has a copy of my FFL on file if you selected FTS to process your transfer it will aotomatically be sent to the seller.
4. Seller ships Firearm to Firearms Training & Supply, We will NOT know the status of your shipment until it arrives. We are rarely provided any tracking information on inbound shipments. The seller is responsible of the package until it is delivered.
5 Once your firearm arrives it still has to be logged before it is ready to pick up, please allow us about an hour after delivery. We will text or call you once your firearm is ready for pickup.
6. We arrange a time for you to pick it up your firearm, ONLY The BUYER NAMED on the receipt can pick up firearm. This is for your protection and to avoid fraudulent transactions.
7. You will electrionically Fill out the required paperwork, ATF Form 4473, and we do the FBI background inquiry.
Background check Not required if you have a valid Arizona CCW Permit
Only Arizona CCW, we can not accept a CCW from any other state, per ATF).
8. Takes on average takes 20 minutes, depending on how fast the background check takes.
If your background check comes back DENIED, you are responsible for arranging for return the firearm and a $20 Administrative fee.
The Background inquiry only tells us Proceed, Denied or Delayed. No other information is disclosed.
If you receive a Delay, we will notify you when we receive an updated status, or after 3 days (Under 21 is now 7 days) full Business days we can finish the transfer.

Priority Mail Large Flat Rate Box $22.80 (Fits most handguns)

I charge the retail rate for shipping (no markup), I can ship VIA UPS and USPS. Most hand guns are shipped USPS.
We stock The boxes and provide basic packing materials for handguns, at no extra cost.
Shipping a Rifle?
I stock boxes for rifles, there is an additional $10 packaging fee for standard rifles.
The box your rifle came in is NOT a shipping box, We can only shipped in corrugated boxes, not plastic cases.
The original box your rifle came in is for freight shipments, pallet bundled shipments.
A shipping box should provide 1-2" of padding on all sides. I used a 10 x 10 x 48-56 box that allows for extra padding. I also pack a rifle to prevent the barrel from breaking through the end of the box. I have received hundreds of rifles and 5-10% have the barrel sticking out or breaking through upon arrival .
If you are selling other items with the firearm let us know and we can include them in the same box and save you the additional shipping charges. In most cases these items add less than $5 to the shipping if anything.
Buyers should note HAND GUNS are required by ATF to be shipped via a “Priority Service”. Such as: Priority Mail (Post Office) or an Air service: Next day or 2nd Day (FedEx or UPS). If you use any of these services I recommend insurance and signature required.
Long guns (rifles) can be shipped via a ground service (3-5 Days) or Parcel Post (3-7 days service). Parts (lower receivers) can be shipped ground. ONLY serialized parts, most often the lower receivers MUST be shipped to an FFL. I only charge transfer fees for serialized parts in a shipment. As it may save you shipping costs if you are buy more parts at the same time and have them shipped together.
WE CAN NOT SHIP AMMUNITION
Shipping to California is an additional $50 Processing fee and require CA. DOJ approval.
FTS does not transfer fully automatic (Class 3) weapons.
FTS DOES NOT warranty or verify operation or function of any firearm being transferred.
The manufacture or selling dealer provides a warranty in most cases.
We report any suspicious activity to the authorities!
