FSU Founding Fijis gathered on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Miller's Ale House in Tallahassee Florida. Seven Phi Sigma brothers from the founding years and two "elder" brothers gathered and had a whale of a time. If you were not there we talked about you and it's your loss. We were excited to have Brother Marshall Davis (70) and Brother Bob Stafford (69) join us for the first time. After the initial back-slapping and hearty greetings just prior to lunch we launched into our traditional graduate brother "sloooooooow" rendition of the Doxology led by the ever-elderly Brother Jeff Crews (68) ... pretty sure we sounded like a leaky pump organ. At least we were not asked to leave by the management ... so maybe we weren't so bad.
Post lunch some of the reunioneers retired to Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium to view the new stadium renovations (stadium getting bigger but seating seems to be getting smaller) and amazing high-definition display at the North end. We watched our beloved Noles careen to a somewhat lackluster win over Wake Forest. No matter - it's still in the "W" column.
READ and HEED: Our next get-together is one year from now. Don't miss it. We are always happy to see our Phi Sigma founding brothers.
Will post more photos as they become available.
