January Photo Challenge: “3 images showing totally different ranges of photography.”

2025 Fort Snelling State Park Photo Contest

The contest was open to everyone – up to 3 entries. The photos must have been taken within the park boundaries.

The four categories included:

Flora (landscape, flowers, trails, trees, people or structures) 

Fauna (wildlife)

Macro (magnified, enlarged, close-up; used Macro feature or lens) 

Fun (abstract, photoshopped, composite, artistic filters, digitally altered beyond standard optimization)

Winners will be chosen by a trained judge on the following merits: originality, technical execution, interest and composition.

There will also be ‘People’s Choice’ voting. All entries are displayed in the visitor center.
