Typical grants range from approximately £100 to £2,000, with larger amounts awarded in exceptional circumstances. Recent projects have included:
Contributions towards the cost of school journeys for Year 6 and other pupils at Holly Park, St John’s, and several other local schools
Funding for music lessons for families receiving income support or experiencing financial hardship
The purchase of Chromebook computers to support classroom learning at Hollickwood Primary School
Assistance with the cost of music lessons for students at Friern Barnet Secondary School
We are delighted to share that the Trust has supported St John’s Primary School in Friern Barnet with the purchase of two minibuses.
These minibuses are already making a significant difference to pupils’ experiences. They enable children to take part in a wide range of enriching activities and visits, including:
Visiting Oakleigh School to support and collaborate with other children
Participating in sports activities such as climbing and kayaking
Attending educational visits to religious places of worship and museums
Access to reliable transport ensures that all children can benefit from these valuable opportunities, broadening their horizons and enhancing their learning beyond the classroom.
We are proud to support initiatives that help create memorable and meaningful experiences for young people.
