Objectives of the Friends' Group
- To provide information about geology, natural and cultural history of Point Beach State Forest
- To develop and maintain trails, facilities and resources in the Forest through financial support and providing volunteer hours
- To preserve and protect native plants and wildlife as well as environmentally sensitive areas in the Forest
- To provide financial support for the improvement and expansion of programs and facilities in the Forest
- To help promote Point Beach State Forest by holding special events for the public to participate in and enjoy
