About Me

I am a well qualified and experienced teacher. I have a degree in French from Leicester University, BA(Hons) 2:1 and I have a PGCE teaching qualification from Leicester University School of Education. I have in the past worked for several years as an Adult Education tutor for Northamptonshire County Council but now am entirely self-employed. I am a self-published author, having written two books about French expressions.

When I am not teaching or writing, I enjoy Zumba, swimming and walking. I am also an enthusiastic member of our local choral society. I read a great deal in French - my favourite authors are Marcel Pagnol and more modern authors such as Valérie Perrin, Philippe Claudel, Gilles Legardinier, Aurélie Valognes and Christian Signol. I like to watch rugby whenever I can and am trying hard to learn rugby lingo in French!
