The Cascades is a beautiful waterfall about 20 minutes from VT, and then a 1.5 hr hike somewhat uphill to see it. It should be very beautiful this time of year, with the leaves changing. (It is also on the VT bucket list of things to do.)
We are organizing a trip for Oct 4th, we would meet at the BCM at 2:00, or we may be able to pick you up, just signup with your address.
