Blessing of the Animals

Join the Franciscan friars, members of the Fraternity of St. Clare, dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs, chickens, goats, reptiles, and birds, and their owners for the annual Blessing of the Animals. The blessing is in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of Animals and the Environment.

The Blessing of the Animals will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on a Saturday morning, a calendar date close to the Feast of St. Francis, October 4th.
