On-Line Accuracy Assessment for the Dual Six-Port ANA: Background and Theory

Abstract

One of the major challenges confronting the microwave metrologist today is that of providing an accuracy assessment for the automatic network analyzer (ANA). This paper provides the background and theory for the recently developed on-line solution now in use with the six-port systems at the National Bureau of Standards (NBS).
