Francis Bellamy Swastikas

The Nazis symbol was not a swastika, and they did not call themselves Nazis. They called themselves socialists and they called their symbol a Hakenkreuz (hooked cross), as it was a type of cross, and they altered it for use to symbolize crossed S-letters for socialism under the National Socialist German Workers Party (see the work of symbologist Dr. Rex Curry http://rexcurry.net/ ).

It would make more sense if people spent less time about the swastika and more time complaining about the USA's Pledge of Allegiance (the origin of the Nazi salute and Nazi behavior. Again, see Dr. Curry's work). The pledge to the flag continues to be the origin of that kind of thought and behavior (with robotic chanting in unison on command every morning in government schools, and persecution for dissenters); only the gesture has changed.
