About me

I'm full professor of economics at the Department of Economics and Statistics Cognetti de Martiis (University of Turin); fellow at the BRICK, Collegio Carlo Alberto and external affiliate at the GREDEG (CNRS and Univeristé Cote d' Azur).

I am the Director of the PhD Programme in Innovation for the Circular Economy at the University of Torino.

I'm the Director of the ICxT Innovation Center at the University of Torino.

I'm co-editor of the journal Spatial Economic Analysis (Regional Studies Association)

I've been Maitre de Conference at the GREDEG, CNRS and University of Nice Sophia Antipolis; visiting scholar at the Columbia University of New York and at the CRIC, Victoria University of Manchester. I obtained my PhD at the Department of Economics, University of Turin.

My research interests include Economics of Innovation, Green Economy and Eco-Innovation, Economic Geography, Industrial Economics, Economics of Knowledge Production and Distribution, ICTs and Development Economics. My core research area is the empirical investigation of the patterns of knowledge creation in sectors and regions, as well as of their differential effects on economic performances.
