I am associate professor in the computational mechanics group at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).

My research is on computational modeling of failure in composites, aiming to apply of the latest techniques from computational mechanics to efficient and robust analysis of complex failure mechanisms in composite laminates.

I teach Stability of Structures, Introduction to the Finite Element Method, and FRP Structures. MSc students interested in a graduation project related to our research on computational methods are welcome to contact me to discuss the available projects.
