ABOUT ME
Present and past positions
Currently (January 2019 - present), I am an Associate Professor/Professore Associato at the University of Trento (Italy) - Department of Economics and Management, where I am also Department Delegate for Orientation.
Before joining UNITN in 2016 as an Assistant Professor/Ricercatore TD, I was a Lecturer/Profesor Ayudante Doctor (September 2011-December 2015) at the University of Valencia (Spain) - Department of Applied Economics, and a Research Fellow (December 2008-August 2011) at the University of Perugia (Italy) - Department of Economics.
Fields of research
My main fields of research are Industrial Economics and Productivity. For the last 15 years, I have been doing research on the determinants of firm growth and survival and on both determinants and consequences of vertical integration. My research work develops also around the causes of productivity growth both at the micro- (firm) and meso- (region/industry) level. More recently, I am conducting research on the determinants and consequences of how firms organize their workforce.
