I am Maître de conférences (Assistant Professor) of computer science at Aix-Marseille University and the Institute of Language, Communication and the Brain (ILCB).

Before, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Language & Cognition lab at Stanford University.

I am interested in the mechanisms of early language acquisition and how they relate to the broader context of cognitive development.

My research strategy is interdisciplinary: I use technology from Speech Recognition and Natural Language processing to investigate large scale datasets that represent the linguistic input in early childhood. Additionally, I use Bayesian modeling and Network science to build cognitive models of language learning . I use these models to both study the children's behavior in controlled laboratory tasks and to investigate development in naturalistic contexts .
