Fortunella 34 was a serial production class, designed around 1960 by Frans Maas and built by Gebr. Maas Boatyard in Breskens, Netherlands.

The Fortunellas were built built strip planked using iroko planks, copper riveted to the steel frames. To my best knowlage the strip planked hull and keel of Sylvan were sheeted with GRP when built.
Deckhouse is built of solid 1’’ teak with a roof consisting of GRP on plywood.
The interior is built in massive teak and teak plywood and has a lining in mahogany.
