As a man named Juve walks into the local pub in Wikalon he notice the pub fairly empty tonight. So he pull up a chair at one of the tables, and beckon the bartender for a frothly ale. As he sips his ale, a shady looking character in the corner catches his eye. He is a fairly slim man wearing a robe made of the skin of the zurt beast found only in the west, his hood covers his head hiding his face, in his hand he holds an ale, the other bears a ring of two silver serpent creatures holding a single bright yellow stone that seems to glow and fade, one serpent holds the jewel in its mouth, the other serpent holds it in its claw. The only other decoration he has on him is that of a shoulder plate, it looked as if it has seen a few battles from the scratches and dents that cover it. In the middle of the plate is an emblem of a fireball with a flat base, similar to what a forest fire from a distance would look. Juve beckons the bartender and ask who the man is. The bartender looks at the man he pointed at and looks back at him with a slight grin. "He is known to be a fool, believing in his thoughts. His true name is not known, but the locals call him Rime." The bartender explains. The bartender then tends to other customers leaving Juve to finish off his ale.
Juve takes the last few gulps of his ale and pay the bartender six Gie for it. Juve then heads over to Rimes table and stops right across the table from Rime asking if he can sit. "That seat appears to house noone at the moment, I see no reason why you can't." he replies. As Juve sits, he asks Rime why the locals think of him as a fool. "They think me as such because I don't think like they do. They think of things too simply and believe it, I think of things more carefuly before I do." he replies. "Can you give me an example?" Juve asks. Rime replies "They say those who don't learn from their past mistakes are doomed to repeat it. This rule has been proven over and over again. Many believe in this rule, some even call it the 'Golden Rule', or 'The Perfect Truth'. I, myself, wouldn't go as far as perfect, not even golden. I think of that rule as the 'Silver rule', only because there is some truth to this rule.", "Why do you think of that rule as the 'Silver Rule'?" you ask. "Have you ever thought of the way time plays out? If you learn from your mistakes in the past, normaly you wouldn't make the same mistake again. But, not all mistakes can be done again. There is always some element that will make the mistake diferent every time. no matter how small the mistake, it will always come out diferent in some way. The most simplest way I can think to put this is that no matter how hard you try, you can never get the exact same outcome of anything more than once."
Rime then gets up, finishes off his ale, pays the bartender six Gie for it, and bids Juve a due. As Juve sat there, he was thinking of what Rime said, Juve began to wonder if Rime was as sane as everyone believes him to be. Juve then remembers the plate on his shoulder and the emblem molded on it. Juve then bids the bartender a due and leaves the pub, and heads down the street for home. As Juve heads down the rocky street, he began to think about what Rime said. During his deep thoughts, he didn't pay attention to where he was going and he went down the wrong alley. As he walked, he began to notice whispers in the shadows. He then realized where he is and turns to run back to the streets, only to come face to face with an alley raoki. Juve stood there as if paralyzed from it's gaze as more come out of the shadows. One of them was wearing a red bandanna that was tied around it's head to the back of its neck and covered his left eye, he carried an iron sword while the rest carried smaller weapons made from various ores. The raoki with the bandanna approached Juve and spoke in a tongue that sent chills down his spine. "Why doessss one walk thessse alleyssss at ssssuch a late hour?" Asked the raoki. Juve stood there paralyzed in fear trying to utter a response, until he spots a glint of yellow light coming from the alley. Suddenly, he didn't feel scared anymore, he some how felt courage and valor, he then responded to the raoki "I was merely return-", "GET HIM!!!" Yelled the raoki. Juve started to defend himself from the gang of raoki, but he was overwhelmed, he had no weapon to defend himself with, he was no warrior to have the strength to fight. he stood his ground as long as his strength allowed, until something hit him in the back of the neck knocking him unconscious. The last thing he saw was that yellow glow.
