'Close encounters of the feathered kind’

Woodie’s Wings is a registered charity that looks after captive bred birds, mainly parrots and owls, that are no longer able to be cared for by their current owners.

We visit many different shows, fairs and fetes during the summer months and during the winter are happy to give talks about the birds.


21st August: Jenelle re Healthy Housing


11th & 25th September: Masson Mill Or Cromford Mill With Fish & Chip Supper.

Members can choose from one of these dates for a lovely trip to either Masson or Cromford mill and then be picked up later for a fish and chip supper in Matlock Bath.

at the Riverside restaurant, Matlock Bath. Anyone who preferred to go to Cromford Mill instead were dropped off there and picked up later in time for the fish and chip tea.
