Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Ford County Historical Society will be our annual dinner meeting. It will be held Wednesday, September 23 at 6:00 pm at the Arcade Cafe in Paxton, IL. The cost for dinner will be updated soon. Terry Lynch will present his program “George Washington: The Battle for Independence” . Reservation form for the dinner may be found by clicking this link. When
Bi-monthly meetings are held by the society. They are held in March, May, July, September and November.
The annual dinner meeting is held in September.
Where
General meetings are held in locations throughout Ford County. For more information, check for events in the Ford County Chronicle or on this website.
Who
The meetings are open to the public. Reservations are required for the dinner meetings for those who wish to dine.
What
In addition to the business of the society, speakers at the meetings present topics dealing with many areas of local and area history.
