(But it IS an adventure packed inquiry-based lesson about The Laws of Motion!)

All SETI personnel is aware that NASA SETI projects were cancelled in 1992. SETI sought private funding to continue our search for intelligent life in the universe. In 2001, Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, funded The Allen Telescope Array (ATA) which is a "Large Number of Small Dishes" (LNSD) array that was designed to be very effective for SETI projects.

It WAS effective! We recently detected a strong narrowband radio signal similar to the "Wow!" Signal of 1977. Through the ATA, SETI received a radio transmission from aliens that reside in a universe parallel to ours. They are able to open a portal to our universe. We are the first planet in our universe where they have located fellow intelligent life!

Here is where you, our SETI researchers and scientists, must help:

They want to visit, but they need to prepare for their trip. They have asked us to supply them with some details about how Force and Motion work in our universe to help them with their visit. Do not worry. They come in peace! Researchers and scientists of SETI, your assistance is required to help our "neighbors" from a parallel universe feel welcome.

Our friendly aliens are not used to the forces in our 3D universe. When they transition to a physical body, they will need help using Force and Motion. You will research and organize information on Force and Motion for our alien visitors. They are counting on you!
