Along with the tracks for your songs, there will sometimes be directions. Ask your teacher any questions if you're unsure. It is recommended that you download the tracks you need instead of just playing them from the Google Drive Player. 100% accuracy is NOT guaranteed. Please feel free to e-mail Mr. Warnecke at daniel_warnecke@sangerusd.net if you have any questions or if you find any errors. Prepare well!
Confitemini Domino Notes:
The recording quality is unfortunately not the best. There is an aleatoric section, where the tenors and sopranos sing a line at random and varied tempos. The part track attempts to "model" this effect, but can't really replicate it.
I'll Be On My Way notes (updated 1/1/2023 - Happy New Year!)
Sopranos and Altos: You will be singing in 3-part for the majority of this song. Initially, some altos would sing with some sopranos on the middle part. However, according to the current list, there are only 31 altos compared to 52 sopranos. So for the three-part, 31 Altos/26 Soprano2s/26 Soprano1s should be fairly balanced without needing some Altos to sing the mid part (more S2s than S1s would be fine as well, but an even split should suffice).
Sopranos:
There are 26 "Sop-Mid" and 26 "Sop-High" spots on the sign-up list. Ideally, Soprano 2s should take the "Sop-Mid" part and Soprano 1s should take the "Sop-High" part. We don't have that breakdown on a list, so please see the sign-up list below. ALL sopranos need to sign-up for learning one or the other part. If one of the parts gets filled, then you will need to take the other part (for example, if all 26 Soprano 1 parts are signed up for, you will be learning the Soprano 2 "sop-mid" part).

Combined SATB Choir
I Will Arise and Make Music notes:
The underlying track is the SATB version, selected because it was one of the better versions available.
O Sifuni Mungu notes:
The tracks were based on a choir that varied up their solos, and made several into duets (the adult choir). Please refer to the solo track if you're interested and NOT the original adult choir track for guidance.
A pronunciation track is also provided (thanks to someone on youtube!).
