New Information (December 2021) (in RED), with regards to the new Data Safety Form Policies.
This message is in relation to the new Data Safety Form Policies, in terms of data types and purposes, as per the info at these links:
https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/data/collect-share
https://play.google.com/console/u/0/developers/890.....582/app/4972.....87999/app-content/summary
It is to state that this App does not collect personal information like the user's name, email address, other personal identifiers, etc. It does not collect other sensitive information (eg. financial information, health data, etc). The app also does not collect user-generated inputted info; and it does not have access to any data from the user's device (eg. files, photos, messages, camera, etc). However, some minimal basic information is collected for the purposes of the Google Play Android Developer Console Analytics for this App (country of user app install, some app activity for the app to work & be usable, clicks/taps for app functionalities, logging the scores in memory, numbers of users/installs, associated data logs, feedback reviews, performance data, diagnostics, crash logs, types of device and OS used) - these are only for Analytics and improving App functionalities.
Here is the data collected:
Location: Approximate location
User or device physical location to an area greater than or equal to three square kilometres, such as the city that a user is in, or location provided by Android’s ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION permission.
Here, it is mainly just the general region / country.
App activity: Page views and taps in app
Information about how a user interacts with your app. For example, the number of page views or the screen coordinates of taps.
This is for the App to be usable.
App activity: Other actions
Any other user activity or actions in-app not listed here such as gameplay and likes.
App info and performance: Crash logs
Crash log data from your app. For example, the number of times that your app has crashed, stack traces or other information directly related to a crash.
App info and performance: Diagnostics
Information about the performance of your app. For example battery life, loading time, latency, framerate or any technical diagnostics.
App info and performance: Other app performance data
Any other app performance data not listed here.
This, like the above, is mainly to log those and improve those for further updates.
Device or other identifiers: Device or other identifiers
Identifiers that relate to an individual device, browser or app. For example, an IMEI number, MAC address, Widevine Device ID, Firebase installation ID or advertising identifier.
The data is:
Collected, not shared.
It is not processed ephemerally.
Data collection is required (users can't opt-out this data collection).
It is for:
App functionality
Used for features in your app, for example to enable functionality or authenticate users. Learn more
Analytics
Used to collect data about how users use your app, or how your app performs. For example, to see how many users are using a particular feature, to monitor app health, to diagnose and fix bugs or crashes or to make future performance improvements. Learn more
Security practices:
Data is encrypted in transit.
Your data is transferred over a secure connection.
Data can't be deleted.
The developer doesn't provide a way for a user to request that the data be deleted.

By downloading or using the App, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the App. You are not allowed to copy, or modify the App, any part of the App, or our trademarks, in any way. You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the App, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the App into other languages, or make derivative versions. The App itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd).
BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd) is committed to ensuring that the App is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the App or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the App or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.
The "Flying Neural Net (Basic Game)" App may store and process personal data that you have provided to us, in order to provide our Service. It is your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the App secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features and it could mean that the "Flying Neural Net (Basic Game)" App won’t work properly or at all.
You should be aware that there are certain things that BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd) will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the App will require the App to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your mobile network provider, but BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd) cannot take responsibility for the App not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and if you don’t have any of your data allowance left.
If you are using the App outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that your terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the App, or other third party charges. In using the App, you’re accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the App outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you’re using the App, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the App.
Along the same lines, BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd) cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the App, i.e. you need to make sure that your device stays charged – if it runs out of battery and you cannot turn it on to avail the Service, BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd) cannot accept responsibility.
With respect to BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd)’s responsibility for your use of the App, when you’re using the App, it is important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we may rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd) accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the App.
At some point, we may wish to update the App. The App is currently available on Android – the requirements for the system (and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the App to) may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the App. BioNeuroTech AppLab (Multidisciplinary Neuroscientific Technologies Ltd) does not promise that it will always update the App so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the Android version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you. We may also wish to stop providing the App, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the App, and (if needed) delete it from your device.
Changes to This Terms and Conditions: We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
We are compliant with the rules set out by Alphabet Inc. / Google LLC , and its Android-related services.
Below is an extract from https://play.google.com/about/families/#!?zippy_activeEl=families-policy#families-policy, which is adhered to by this App.
Families Policy Requirements:
If one of the target audiences for your app is children, you must comply with the following requirements. Failure to satisfy these requirements may result in app removal or suspension.
1. App content: Your app's content that is accessible to children must be appropriate for children.
2. Google Play Console Answers: You must accurately answer the questions in the Google Play Console regarding your app and update those answers to accurately reflect any changes to your app.
3. Ads: If your app displays ads to children or to users of unknown age, you must:
only use Google Play certified ad networks to display ads to those users;
ensure ads displayed to those users do not involve interest-based advertising or remarketing;
ensure ads displayed to those users present content that is appropriate for children;
ensure ads displayed to those users follow the Families ad format requirements; and
ensure compliance with all applicable legal regulations and industry standards relating to advertising to children.
4. Data Collection: You must disclose the collection of any personal information from children in your app, including through APIs and SDKs called or used in your app.
5. APIs and SDKs: You must ensure that your app properly implements any APIs and SDKs.
Apps that solely target children must not contain any APIs or SDKs that are not approved for use in child-directed services. This includes, Google Sign-In (or any other Google API Service that accesses data associated with a Google Account), Google Play Games Services, and any other API Service using OAuth technology for authentication and authorization.
Apps that target both children and older audiences should not implement APIs or SDKs that are not approved for use in child-directed services unless they are used behind a neutral age screen or implemented in a way that does not result in the collection of data from children (e.g., providing Google Sign-in as an optional feature). Note that all users must be able to access your app and a reasonable amount of its functionality.
6. Privacy policy: You must provide a link to your app's privacy policy on your app's store listing page. This link must be maintained at all times while the app is available on the Store, and it must link to a privacy policy that, among other things, accurately describes your app's data collection and use.
7. Special restrictions:
If your app uses Augmented Reality, you must include a safety warning immediately upon launch of the AR section. The warning should contain the following:
An appropriate message about the importance of parental supervision.
A reminder to be aware of physical hazards in the real world (e.g., be aware of your surroundings).
Your app must not require the usage of a device that is advised not to be used by children. (e.g. Daydream, Oculus)
8. Legal Compliance: You must ensure that your app, including any APIs or SDKs that your app calls or uses, is compliant with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA), E.U. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and any other applicable laws or regulations.
