Welcome

Some words about me:

After attending a technical school for electronics (technical engineering) I started my studies of economics and business administration at the University of Innsbruck from which I graduated in 2010. Over the same period of time I had been part of the Austrian national team in Judo from which I resigned after graduation to be able to focus on my PhD studies in economics for the following three years. After having successfully earned my doctoral degree (PhD in Economics) at the University of Innsbruck in 2013, I moved to the Department of Economics at the University of Munich to the Chair of Martin Kocher for Behavioral and Experimental Economics in October. One year later I moved back to Innsbruck at the Department of Banking and Finance. At the end of February 2018 I left the university and started to work as the head of purchasing at planlicht GmbH & Co KG until December 2020. In the same time, I was a Senior Research Fellow (part-time) at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn. From Januar 2021 until June 2023, I joined the team of the UniCredit Bank Austria AG as Corporate Relationship Manager. Scine July 2023 I have been supporting the Ledermair Group as Head of Finance and Purchasing.

My main research interest lies in the field behavioral and experimental economics and finance. More specifically I focus on personnel and organizational economics, behavioral finance, applied game theory, sports economics, decision theory and research on (social) preferences. As one can guess from my broad variety of my areas of interest, I am always searching for fascinating and innovative research questions.
