I am Professor of Finance at the University of Southern Denmark. My research examines how financing constraints, information problems, uncertainty, and institutional arrangements shape corporate investment, capital structure, private equity, and financial decision-making.
My work combines rigorous financial theory with questions of relevance to firms, investors, financial institutions, and policymakers. Current research focuses on corporate financing and investment, information and incentives, private equity, financial institutions, and decision-making under uncertainty.
I lead the Finance Research Group at the University of Southern Denmark and have substantial experience in research leadership, academic governance, programme development, and executive education. I also serve as an elected member of the Board of the University of Southern Denmark.
