Floersch Family Reunion 2022

The Minnesota Floersch family would like to invite everyone to our reunion on July 15th and 16th (check out on the 17th), 2022, at the Three Bears Resort in Warren's, Wisconsin (701 Yogi Cir, Warrens, WI 54666). We have reserved many different options in terms of housing for people depending on how much you want to pay. There are queen rooms, suites, and full cabin rentals. I have also reserved a hall for all day Saturday in case of bad weather or so people can sit in the air conditioning. I thought we would have a catered lunch buffet on Saturday afternoon. Then Saturday night we are planning to have something simple for dinner like hotdogs on the grill or sandwiches. If I had to guess at this point, I would say plan on about $27 per person to cover the cost of lunch and dinner that day.

There is plenty to do like an indoor and outdoor waterpark (waterpark passes come with your reservation fee), plenty of hiking or biking, swimming, ATV rentals, mini-golf, a large arcade, and lazer maze. Nearby, there are golf courses and a casino. The Wisconsin Dells is less than 1 hour away too if people decide they want to visit the "Water Park of the World" or extend their vacation.

The advantages of having the reunion at Three Bears is the hall which we get all day for free and the fact that we can block rooms. Everywhere I called in Minnesota and Wisconsin would not let us block rooms which I figured we needed. The resorts cancelation policy was also very favorable and something many resorts did not have. I think once you do total up the cost of staying at the resort you will find it isn't that much more expensive that if you reserved hotel rooms. There are also plenty of different options and could be something that families want to get together and split the costs (like the full cabins which can host up to 10 people). One of our fondest reunion memories was when we stayed at the resort in Portland, Oregon. We wanted to have a reunion where we could spend more than a few hours together getting caught up. I always feel like, just as we are getting comfortable talking to extended family, it is time to depart. We are hoping the resort will allow us to hang out a bit longer and share stories.

After the reunion, I figured some families having made the long trek to Wisconsin, may choose to extend their personal family vacation by reserving more nights at the resort (you will get the same discounted fee we have worked out) or may choose to drive a little further and go to the famous Wisconsin Dells.
