I'm Senior Economist at the Bank of Italy, in the Emerging markets and World Trade Division, Directorate General for Economics, Statistics and Research.

My research interests are in the area of international finance, mainly on international capital movements, sovereign debt and reserve accumulation.

I earned a Ph.D in Economics from the European University Institute.
