Dave Bentley began his ministry in Wallingford in January 2014, although he had been preaching at the church regularly prior to being called as pastor.  Dave has been in ministry for over thirty years and has served churches in a variety of roles and locations.

He is married to his best friend, Andie.  They have two children and a pile of grandchildren.  Dave has a variety of gifts and abilities, but his primary passion is preaching and teaching the Word of God.  He blends a number of different styles of preaching into his ministry with the ultimate goal of helping people learn about and believe in the Lord Jesus as they mine the depths for hidden treasure.  

In addition to serving at FBC Wallingford, Dave is a Professor of English at Northeastern Baptist College in Bennington, Vermont and Dean of Students at Grace Christian School, also in Bennington.

Pastor Dave has a flare for the dramatic as well.
