This transportation unit is a big hit with boys who love buses, cars, and trains. However, many girls enjoy it as well, especially the song "Charkhaa-ye Otoboos" (Wheels on the Bus). That handout is available to download below. We also learned about trucks "kaamyoon", trains "teran/ghataar" and reviewed our Career Unit by learning about firetrucks "maasheen-e aatesh neshaanee".

Playtime is always a great time to learn language and the Train Table Vocabulary sheet below will give you short phrases to use while enriching your child's vocabulary. We have that handout attached to our train table.
It is good to use different art mediums with children so this quarter we introduced chalk "ghach". Chalk works well on black paper so a fun an easy craft was for the kids to make their own street "kheeyaaboon" by drawing dotted lines on a rectangular black piece of paper and pasting car cut-outs on it.
