Sonic Scapes is a curated collection of experimental sonic art projects dedicated to the creation of natural, artificial, and conceptual auditory environments. A cornerstone of the composer’s research since 1998 has been the sonification of extra-musical and extra-auditory data, a process that transforms non-acoustic information into immersive soundscapes.
Central to this collection are the SonoViSC projects, a significant series focusing on the sonification of "visual scapes." This body of work includes the Sonified Space Scapes, which explore the intersection of visual data and sonic realization, pushing the boundaries of how we perceive and interpret spatial and structural information through sound.
