Main character of this ironic drama, filled with grotesque elements, is an acknowledged artist Sebastian. An exposition broods inside his head. His idea sees the need for new and better first humans, Adam and Eve who would not fall into sin. Since first inhabitants of the Paradise
did not have navels, then Ekke, who was the photo-model also in the previous project and who now impersonates Adam, must give up his navel. As for Eve, Sebastian has chosen a girl, whose roller skate training he has been observing for quite a while. Planned photo staging is a documentary recording of a cruel ritual, titled “Key to Heaven”.
The idea of this photo staging scares Sebastian’s curator – she renounces to support and organize the exhibition. Model Ekke on the other hand is happy for a chance to participate in this ghostly staging and rise to heaven with a beautiful roller-skater.
Bloody photo session in a public city space seems as an actual crime to an old couple accidently witnessing it – the old man calls in the police and ambulance.
Finale of the film with a suddenly intervening stranger, overrules common truth about turnover - ars longa, vita brevis est or as explained – artists life is an everlasting endless search.
