Numerical simulations of a planetary magnetosphere

An easy to use numerical code to simulate the interaction of a stellar wind with a planetary magnetosphere

PLANET_MAG_AMRVAC is a code which numerically simulates the 3D interaction of a supersonic stellar wind with the magnetosphere of a magnetized planet. It can be used to simulate the magnetosphere of Mercury, the Earth or with one of the giant planets of the solar system. It is flexible and can be applied to exoplanets. The code is based on the powerful MPI-AMRVAC MHD solver.
