When is it? Saturday, June 4th. Registration 8:30 - 9:30AM. Shuttle service from parking to the launch is available from 9 - 10 a.m. Participants can launch on the river at any time during this time frame.

Who can participate? This is a family friendly event for all ages. Anyone 12 or under must have an adult in their boat with them at all times.

How much does it cost? In-person: Adults - $40 (includes event hat, pig roast meal -including one beverage- and one raffle entry) Children 13-17 - $20 (includes pig roast meal and one beverage and event hat) Children 12 and under are $5. (includes pig roast meal and one beverage. Option is available to purchase an event hat for $15).

Virtual: The cost to participate virtually is the same price as in-person for adults and students (but no meal ticket provided) and is and free for children 12 and under. Your registration materials and hat will be shipped to you.

Optional extra raffle tickets are available for $5 each or 5 for $20.

What food and beverage is included? Meal includes pork sandwich and sides (to be determined) and all condiments. Plus one beverage of your choice (water, soda).

How much is an extra meal? Invite your friends to the park for the pig roast too! Cost of extra meals is $10. Beverages will also be available for purchase.

How do I register? Register online now through 10pm June 3rd. Prefer paper registration? Email us and we will send you a form to print and mail in. In-person registration is also available the day of the event until 9:30AM.

Will it be cancelled if it rains? The event will only be cancelled in case of thunder or lightning. Rain date is scheduled for the next day: June 5. We will determine cancellation by 6 a.m. the morning of the event. We will email participants and update the website and on our Facebook page, if event is cancelled. You can also call 715-661-0738 if you are unsure. Pig roast will continue at the fire hall. Sorry we are not able to provide refunds.

Can I get more raffle tickets? One raffle ticket is included with each adult registration. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased within the registration system or on site the day of the event for $5 each or 5 for $20.

What are the raffle drawing prizes? First place prize is Grey Duck "Coast" Stand-up Paddle Board with Paddle Second place prize is a St. Croix Fishing rod and Third prize is a "Full Throttle" Single Pull Behind Tubing Float.

When is the raffle drawing? The raffle prizes will be drawn at 3PM the day of the event at Movrich Park.

Do I need to be present to win? Participants do not need to be present to win the raffle prizes but it will be your responsibility to pick up your prize when you are able.

If the float event and the rain date is cancelled due to weather, will there still be a raffle drawing? Yes the raffle prizes will be drawn on June 4th even if the event is cancelled. As stated, winners do not need to be present to win. Pig roast will be moved to the firehall in the event of inclement weather.

What do I need to participate? Participants need to be preregistered or register the day of the event. Participants must bring their vessel (canoe or kayak) and a wearable personal flotation device (PFDs) (this is a law in Wisconsin). Event rules require all participants to wear their PFDs at all times while on the flowage. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water, snacks, and sunscreen for the trip.

Where can I rent a vessel? Silly Goose Silent Sports in Park Falls has a few kayaks available for rent.

Is food available at the launch? A traditional pig roast will be available at Movrich Park starting at 11:00. This meal is included for every in-person participant. When you are done on the river, you can join in at the park for the picnic. Additional meals will be sold to the general public until the food is gone.

Will event staff be available for launch and landing? Yes. There will be event staff to help participants with launching (from 8:30-9:30AM only) and possibly for landing for a short time.

Will there be any staff along the route? Yes. There will be paddlers out on the river.

What are the rules? Every participant must wear a flotation device at all times on the river ~ Obey all Wisconsin recreation rules and laws ~ No alcohol on the route ~ No littering ~ No vandalizing or trespassing on property along the flowage.
