The Cedar Creek Valley Shrine is a place of pilgrimage sitting atop an ancient place. Between woodlands with springs running, it sees clearly the sun rising and setting horizon to horizon and sees the stars from south to north too. Itself the shrine is a celebration of the divine in nature. It sits as a shrine in nature to nature. A silent place to sit in nature. A place of meditation.
Honor to the Hills
Through all this world below
God we see all around.
Search hills and valleys through
There He's found in growing field
Of corn; the lily and the thorn,
The pleasant and forlorn,
All declare God is there;
In meadows dress'd in green,
There He's seen.
