Meet the Counselors

 Tricia Nahlik--1st and 3rd Grades
I have been a counselor at Festus Elementary for 10 years.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from UMSL, a Master's Degree in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University, and a Psychological Examiner Certification from Missouri Baptist University.  I am originally from Arnold, but I have been living in the Festus area for the last 12 years with my husband, Jason and three kids. I love our community and am gratefully for the opportunity to work with your child!

Angie Eisenbeis--Kindergarten and 2nd Grade
Hi!  My name is Angie Eisenbeis.  I have been in education for 20 years.  I first started out as a sixth grade teacher at the Middle School teaching Math and Science.  I then started working on my Master Degree in Counseling.  While doing that, I worked as the Title I Math teacher and also the 3rd Grade Counselor.  When I finished my Master's degree, I became a full time counselor at the elementary for 2nd and 3rd grades.  I love what I do!  Everyday is different, and the kids are great to be with!  I grew up in DeSoto and graduated from DeSoto High School.  I attended Jefferson College and them transferred to Southeast Missouri State where I obtained my Bachelor and Master's degrees.  I have been married to my husband Jason for almost 4 years now.  I have a daughter, Jenna, who is in 12th grade, and a stepson, Braden, who is a sophmore in college.  I have a little Maltese named Charlie.  He is ten years old and only weighs 5 pounds.  No, he is not spoiled!  In my free time, you'll find me hanging with my family, reading, or maybe doing some yoga.  In the summer, we're usually traveling and enjoying our time off.  I love Festus schools and I hope to be here until I retire!
