WHAT TO BRING:
Wear old or covered clothes and closed footwear.
A mosaic bird
A decorative mosaic bird, cut from MDF wood that is suitable for indoors, using commercial ready-made tiles.
Be guided through basic mosaic essentials:
Types and use of suitable tools for mosaics.
Tesserae or types of tiles available and what to look for with an indoor project.
Types of bases, adhesives and materials for indoors.
Suitable methods for indoor projects.
Timing of stages eg: glue drying times, and grouting.
Grouting, cleaning and polishing to finish the project.
Sources for materials & tools.
