What I want to learn
I want to learn more about applying CDOS Standards to projects, class assignments and powerpoints.
I want to learn more about how 21st Century Skills applies to CTE Learning
I would love to learn more about the initiative.
I wish to learn more about the availability and process for schools to employ the skills credential.
I do wish to learn more about the program.
I wish to do more reading about the final proposal to see where it fits into The Big Picture.
What I have learned/mastered at the end of the module.
I learned how to integrate WBL goals and CDOS standards to a powerpoint. I created slides that let my audience understand how CDOS and WBL relate to one another. I gained further understanding how it applies to students k-12.
I learned about WBL and CTE Endorsements. I learned the technical aspects of creating curriculum for state approved school programs. This Mod was difficult but very interesting as I know understand the big picture. I was able to create necessary powerpoint slides to reinforce my understanding.
I have watched some great videos about the 21st Century initiatives and learned that it encompases all student training from grades k thru 12 and beyond.
I have learned more comprehensive information about the Employability Skills Credential. I have also learned about the process for a school to create the curriculum necessary for certification of their students and the benefits to the employers, students, and faculty.
After completing assignment 3.7, I see that Ford Pas has created great curriculum for students and training of their product for educators. Ford Pas has created something unique , as educators in all disciplines will be able to integreate into their lessons. Hands on learning is essential to all students along with career and work readiness.
I am really proud of how the final proposal is coming along. I hope to present it at some point to the school in which I will be teaching. It is a summation of the Work Based Learning Coordinators product to his or her school and student. The audience should be able to view the intensity of the commitment to improve our students lives. Any school without such programs are not reaching the "whole " student.
