Hello! I work as an assistant professor in economics at Sciences Po. Prior to that, I worked at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and obtained my PhD in economics from CREST, Ecole Polytechnique. I have visited Harvard University as a visiting assistant professor and UC Berkeley as a visiting student researcher. I am a research affiliate of CEPR, CESifo, and the IFS.
I conduct research in public economics that combines applied theory with empirical analysis and microsimulation tools to study and inform the design of tax-benefit systems. I am particularly interested in how policies interact with one another and in the implications of these interactions for optimal policies.
