Hello! I work as an assistant professor in economics at Sciences Po. I conduct research in public economics that combines applied theory with empirical analysis and microsimulation tools to study and inform the design of tax-benefit systems. I am particularly interested in how policies interact with one another and what this implies for optimal policies.
Prior to that, I worked at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and obtained my PhD in economics from CREST, Ecole Polytechnique. My dissertation "Essays on the design of tax-benefit systems" received dissertation awards from Association Française de Science Economique and from Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
News: I will be a visiting assistant professor at Harvard University for several weeks in Spring 2025 to teach part of the public economics sequence for PhDs (ECON2540A/B)
