I am a Global Economist at SPX Capital, where I lead the modelling team in the Macro Research division. Previously, I worked as Senior Research Economist at the Bank of England. 

My research interests lie at the intersection of international finance and international macroeconomics. My papers have been published in leading scientific journals such as the Journal of Financial Intermediation, the Journal of Banking & Finance, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, the IMF Economic Review and the Journal of International Money and Finance. They have also received media attention, including by Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal. 

I received a DPhil (PhD) in Economics from the University of Oxford (Mansfield College). I also hold a Master in Economics and Finance from Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros (CEMFI, Spain) and a BSc in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT, Argentina).
