Endohedral Fullerenes

Endohedral fullerenes are fullerenes that have additional atoms, ions, molecules or clusters enclosed. In many cases, these guests are not chemically bonded to the cage, as in He_n@C₆₀. A system like this can be thought as a particle trapped in a box.

We are interested in studying the quantum nature of the trapped particles, using a modified version of the APMO method.
