Dr. habil. Eva Federmayer, literary scholar and Americanist (formerly Associate Professor at the Department of American Studies, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, and the Department of American Studies, University of Szeged, Hungary) has a variety of professional interests, ranging from literary criticism and cultural studies through critical race studies, gender studies, multiculturalism to American women writers. Her current research and publications focus on African American studies, critical race studies and ecocriticism. As the proud owner of two small greenhouses and a raised bed, her new passion is organic gardening.
