Circuit Downloads

Circuits come as two files, a file with an fdi extension, and a file with an fde extension. You need both files. Some circuits have multiple layouts that use the same circuit image. They have one fdi, and multiple fde files (you don't need all fde files if you don't want to play all the layouts). Place them in your Circuits folder next to the FDEOnline program.

Circuit files might get updated, or new ones added, so check back here to make sure you have the latest version. fdi files rarely get updated, but fde files can have mistakes fixed or features updated. The version of a fdi or fde file is a number that gets increased any time changes are made. A higher version of one fde does not mean it's newer or better than another fde. You can see which version of a track you have in your FDEOnline program in the Circuit Chooser. In the example of the Österreichring on the left, you can see 30;2 in the lower right corner. This means the track id is "30" and the version is "2".

If you play FDEOnline over TCP/IP, all players need to have the same circuit files of the same version.
