Geomechanics for Geo-Energy and Geo-Storage (G³) Lab
Geomechanics for Geo-Energy and Geo-Storage (G³) Lab
Welcome to the G³ Lab Group in the Texas A&M International University Petroleum Engineering Program.
Led by Dr. Fatick Nath, the G³ Lab Group is dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions in geoenergy, georesources, and geostorage through cutting-edge research in geomechanics.
Our research focuses on key areas such as geomechanics, hydraulic fracturing, sustainable produced water management, geothermal energy systems, and geological carbon storage (GCS). By integrating experimental investigations, computational modeling, and intelligent systems, we aim to address critical energy challenges while providing impactful research opportunities for students and collaborators.
Currently, our team includes two undergraduate students and one LSAMP Scholar, who are actively working on projects related to geomechanics, foam-based frac fluid, hydraulic fracturing, and enhanced geothermal systems.
