Design, Synthesis and Anti-hiperglycemic Activity of Potent 1,5-diarilpyrazole derivatives

As an effort towards the development of useful and potent agents for the treatment of metabolic syndrome and related diseases, high predictable models were derived employing the CoMFA and CoMSIA 3D-QSAR methodologies. Generated by these models, five 1,5-diarilpyrazole derivatives were synthesized. The compounds were evaluated for in vivo antihiperglycemic activity using a streptozotocin-nicotinamide rat model of T2DM and glibenclamide was taken as positive control.
