I am the Executive Director of the Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre (MHRC) and an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at the Department of Economics, Lahore University of Management Sciences. I am also an Associate Fellow of the Institute for Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS), a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) and an Invited Researcher at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). Previously, I was a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Economics and Business (CREB), an Assistant Professor at the Lahore School of Economics, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Göttingen.
