Sadly Adam Nevill will not be the head chef at this years banquet, which is probably for the best when considering his novels, however this just in from Guy...

"Ah... the banquet! That most illustrious (and frequently indigestible) of FantasyCon standards. It’s no secret that we were determined to change it this year and I have spent some considerable time discussing options with the venue. In fact we discussed options so thoroughly that it came close to being cancelled altogether (that or the committee was going to have a considerable amount of cheese and pickle sandwiches to prepare)! However we have now come up with a compromise between affordability and edibility that we hope will be a welcome change. The hotel are providing a selection of hot buffet food, pasta and curry dishes, including vegetarian options and a range of side-salads. The ticket price of £30 again includes a half bottle of last year’s (eminently drinkable) wine per head. We hope that this will be a satisfying solution to the problems of recent years."
