Biography

Fan-Hsun Tseng received the M.S. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from the National Ilan University, Yilan, Taiwan, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from the National Central University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 2016. From 2018 to 2021, he joined the faculty of the Department of Technology Application and Human Resource Development, National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan. In 2021, he joined the faculty of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, where he is currently an Associate Professor since 2024. Dr. Tseng received the Young Scholar Fellowship from the Ministry of Science and Technology in Taiwan in 2018, the Distinguished Young Scholar Award from the Computer Society of the R.O.C in 2020, the 2021 Best Young Professional Member Award from IEEE Tainan Section, and the 2021 K. T. Li Young Researcher Award from the Institute of Information & Computing Machinery. He was qualified and awarded for the rank of EAI Fellows class of 2021. He is the Secretary General and the Chair of the Computer Society Chapter of IEEE Tainan Section. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Agile and Extreme Software Development, Associate Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Computers, Associate Editor of IEEE Access, Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences, Journal of Internet Technology, Journal of the Chinese Institute of Engineers, and IET Networks, and Topic Editor of Sensors and Electronics. His research interests include Mobile Networks, Cloud and Edge Computing, IoT and Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Evolutionary Computing. He is a senior member of the IEEE.

曾繁勛為國立中央大學資訊工程學系博士，現為國立成功大學資訊工程學系副教授。曾博士致力於工程與技術領域之研究，通過2018年科技部年輕學者養成計畫，曾獲2020年中華民國電腦學會傑出青年獎、2021年IEEE台南分會最佳青年專業會員獎、2021中華民國資訊學會李國鼎青年研究獎、2021 EAI會士。現為IEEE台南分會秘書長暨電腦協會分會主席，International Journal of Agile and Extreme Software Development主編，Journal of Computers副主編，IEEE Access、Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences、Journal of Internet Technology、Journal of the Chinese Institute of Engineers、IET Networks等國際期刊之編輯委員，其主要研究領域涵蓋行動網路、雲端與邊緣運算、物聯網與大數據、人工智慧、機器學習與演化計算。
