Our Ministry Team

Pete and Denita Winstead - Pete is our Senior Pastor and is supported by his lovely wife Denita. Pete was born and raised on the coast of North Carolina and lived his later teen years experiencing the “partying life” while running from God. Pete was raised in a Christian family and had a powerful, praying mother. Pete finally reached a point where he could no longer handle the emptiness in his life or convicting power of the Holy Spirit partially brought on by the answers to a mother's prayers for a son to have a relationship with the Heavenly Father. On January 5th 1981 he experienced the life altering salvation gift of grace brought only from Jesus Christ. One year later God had led him to Bible College in Nashville Tennessee, (called Welch College today) where he met his beautiful wife Denita, who is from the mountains of North Carolina. They have been married for just about 34 years and as of this writing they have been blessed with four children and five grandkids. Pete and Denita believe in the universal Kingdom of God and that there is only one church and it exists in all who are the people of God no matter where you may be at or from. They feel very fortunate to be a part of Faith Community Church in Oak Grove, MO. They know that Jesus loves them and it is their desire to share that wonderful message to all.

Kip and Marie Lappert - Kip serves as our Worship Leader, bringing new and old contemporary style Christian music to our worship time. He and his wife, Marie, serve on the team together with a passion for praise and true hearts for worship while striving to bring our family into a deeper place in Spirit and in truth to glorify our Lord. Kip has had a background of music for many years with his grandfather and father teaching him music and trumpet at a very young age. Kip grew up learning various instruments and plays drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and trumpet. His background was Country/Rock until he came to know the Lord and started playing Contemporary Christian music. He has been on a few praise teams playing a variety of instruments, singing and leading. He has also been in a few Contemporary Christian bands that some may recognize him from. Marie grew up in a little country church out south of Bates City, MO where she led the congregation singing and wrote songs for the Lord since she was born again at the age of twelve. Her love for the Lord shows through in the music God gives her and Kip has helped in some of the arrangements of these songs.

Troy Calvin - Troy serves on our Finance and Directional Team. (under construction)

Randy and Ronnie Culp - Ronnie serves in our children's ministry. (under construction)

Dennis and Genia Combs - Genia helps with our children's ministry. (under construction)

Billy and Pam Buesing - Pam is the director of The Helper's Hands Ministry - Special Needs Serving Others

Tony and Ashley Sudtelgte - Together they run sound, slide show, live videos, the Facebook page and, this Website . They help the worship team bring every one together to worship our one true king. Tony and his wife have been a wonderful addition to our ministry team. Their love for the Lord shows through the work they do for our wonderful church.

Tony raised in Oak Grove. A 2011 graduate from Oak Grove. he has many years running sound systems for Varrious Churchs and many Events for the last 15 years. he also has a back ground working on computers and entertainment systems. he has been raised in the church, this church in-fact, giving his life to christ in 2010. with his knolage of technology Tony has made a grreat addition to our church upgrading equipment and making thing run smoothly on Sunday's and Wednesdays. Pete has been a awesome person in Tonys life, Pete has baptised him been apart of his eeagle scout journey and marrried him and his wife, he is happy to be able to be apart of the church he grew up in.

Ashley raised in Odessa. A 2017 graduate of Wellington-Napoleon. She has a musical background, six plus years in her schools marching, concert band & drum line, a very helpful addition to our ministry team. She grew up in church, giving her life to the Lord in 2010, being baptized 2016. Showing her love the lord everyday in her work & social life. The two tied the knot September 2019 & plan to raise a God-loving Family. Tony & Ashley have been a wonderful addition to our church family. They feel very fortunate to be a part of Faith Community Church.
