Contributor Information
The Eagle values resident contributions! They add interest, vitality and depth to our content and are much appreciated. If you think you might like to contribute an article and are unsure as to how to proceed, come by the Eagle or phone and discuss your ideas with an Eagle staff member.

Please note that the Eagle must follow these quality standards to ensure the suitability of our material for our readers:
The content must be newsworthy, informative or entertaining.
Materials from a third party source must have the original source identified and must be free of any copyright or privacy constraints.
The Editor reserves the right to accept or reject material, or to modify it. Inclusion in any particular edition is subject to available space.
Contents must be consistent with the editorial policy set by the Fairways Home Owners Association.

Material submitted may be handwritten (if legible), typed, emailed or provided on a computer medium such as a disk or memory stick (Word Perfect or Word documents are preferred). In all cases, it must be accompanied by the name and phone number of the submitter. Submission may be placed in the Eagle mail slot (next to the FHAOI office). It is a good idea to call the Eagle to let us know that you plan to contribute.
The publication deadline for the following month is the 12th or the preceding business day.
Photographs or drawings add depth and interest. While digital pictures (such as jpeg or tiff from digital cameras) often provide the best results, good quality regular snapshots usually can be accommodated. (Be sure to write your name and phone number on the back). Photos submitted will be held for your pickup at the Eagle office.
