***2026 Pool Pass Information***
We are looking forward to a safe, fun, and exciting pool season. Again this summer, your community is using Access Granted Systems, LLC to generate ID cards for all patrons. Each resident has the option to select an e-pass and/or a hard copy of the pool access ID card.
I am writing to you on behalf of the Board of Directors of The Fair Ridge Recreation Association regarding the above-mentioned subject. Summer is approaching and once again it is time to prepare for the opening of the pool. The pool will open on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and will close on Monday, September 7, 2026. The hours for the 2026 season are:
May 23 – June 17 and August 24 – September 7 - Public Schools In Session
Monday – Thursday 4 pm – 8 pm
Friday 4 pm – 9 pm
Saturday 11 am – 9 pm
Sunday 11 am – 8 pm
June 18 – August 23 - Public Schools Closed – Summer Hours
Sunday – Thursday 11 am - 8 pm
Friday/Saturday 11 am - 9 pm
** Holidays** The pool will close at 7 pm on July 4th and September 7th
ALL MEMBERS AND RESIDENTS MUST SUBMIT A 2026 APPLICATION – Pool pass applications will be processed online only in an effort to reduce costs and increase turnaround times. ALL members and residents who wish to obtain a pool pass must register online and all previous pool passes are now null and void. Pool passes will be provided in electronic format that you can use from your smartphone.
NEW PASS – check only if you would like a hard copy mailed to at a charge of $10 per card.
REACTIVATED PASS – check if you had a previous years ePass with photo and wish to reuse it.
ePASS – for new ePass with new pictures.
ALL TENANTS MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION for all residents ages 12 and over (Ages 0-11 will not receive passes) and upload a copy of a CURRENT LEASE.
OWNERS - If you have tenants, it is your responsibility as the property owner to provide them with the necessary registration information.
GUEST FEES ARE $2.00 PER GUEST and must be paid in advance online through the pool system. Multiple-use punch guest passes are available for purchase from Association Management and Fair Ridge Board Member(s) – 6 visits for $10.00. Multiple-use guests passes previously purchased from Association Management are still valid for use. Please present to the front desk staff.
Please also be advised that you may visit www.fairridgerecreation.org to review or print additional copies of the pool rules.
How do I receive my pool passes?
Online Application: For quicker processing apply online at: https://swimmingpoolpasses.net/fair-ridge-recreation/
$0 Application fee + $10 per hard copy pass. You can select an e-pass only for $0.
OR Mail a paper Application: There is a $10.00 application fee to mail a paper application. A One-time fee of $10 per Household application fee + $10 per hard copy pass will apply. Paper applications must be downloaded from the web link provided below.
**Note: This is a private community pool for residents of Fair Ridge Community Association, Fairmont Condominiums and Linden at Fair Ridge only.**

We wanted to inform you of an important update regarding our community tennis/pickleball court. Due to a recent series of damages and costly repairs resulting from improper use, the Board of Directors has made the decision to install a key lock on the tennis court gate.
Effective immediately, Residents who wish to access the tennis/pickleball court will need to pick up a key from Cardinal Management Group, Inc. located at 3704 Golf Trail Lane, Fairfax, VA 22033. In order to obtain the key, the account must be in good standing and Residents will be required to sign a release form.
Here are some key points regarding the key lock system:
1.Key Pickup Location: 3704 Golf Trail Lane, Fairfax, VA 22033
Monday thru Friday, 8:30 – 5:00
2. Release Form: Residents must sign a release form when picking up the key.
3. Fee Structure:
There will be a $30 fee for key issuance.
· $15 of the fee is refundable upon return of the key.
· $15 is a non-refundable key issuance fee.
· Payment must be in the form of check or money order.
4. For Owners with Tenants: If you are an Owner with Tenants, both the Owner and the Tenant will be required to sign the release form.
5. Point of Contact: Reach out to Kathi Sherman via email at k.sherman@cardinalmanagementgroup.com to request a form and coordinate pick up of key.
We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but it is necessary to ensure the proper use and maintenance of the tennis court for the enjoyment of all Residents.

The annual assessment amount of 2026 will be $513.30. Payment is due February 1st. Please note per the Association’s Collection Resolution, if payment of the assessment is not received by the managing agent within sixty days of the due date (by April 1st), the account will be deemed late and a late fee of 5% ($24.50) will automatically be added to any amount due.

The FRRA and Community Association funded an initiative to install "Little Free Libraries" throughout the community. A total of four (4) Little Free Libraries will be installed and initially stock with books. We look to the community to continue the sharing of books and take advantage of these free books and support the mission and values of the Little Free Library organization.
The locations of the Little Free Libraries are:
1. By the playground on Sleepy Lake Court
2. By the message board on Fair Ridge Drive
3. By the Fair Ridge sign at the Pool
4. By the message board at the tennis courts
